What a success! What a generous community we live in.
Wayne Schilstra was happy to present a cheque for $1653.05 to WLCC matching the cash donations made at the 6th Annual Great Pumpkin Giveaway, held at Smithville Foodland on October 5th. WLCC benefitted with $3306.10 in total contributions and over 1000 pounds of food.
Thanks to Mike MacQueen for donating the food, the location, and providing the burgers and pumpkins at cost. Thank you to the volunteers of West Lincoln Community Care for their hard work at this event. Last but not least to Sharlene Volpatti for organizing the volunteer support. We look forward to next year!

We had a great time at the West Niagara Fair!
On Saturday, September 7th, from 9 to 11 am, we hosted the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon, offering tethered flights. Of course, there is no charge for the Balloon flights, though there are admission fees to the fair.
